Wide, family Greens turn into Blues, then into Reds and then finally Blacks at the top of the resort. The resort and slopes are mainly south-facing so with an average of 300 sunny days a year (or something ridiculous!), it's a perfect destination for topping up the Vitamin D after a winter in the UK! And it's only just over an hour from Grenoble. And Finally... it is one of the most famous stage-finishes of 'The Tour' (de France) with a muscle wrenching 14.5km of uphill, finishing in the town itself. A great resort - I love it! I had no idea what to expect form Alpe d’Huez and Les 2 Alpes and ended up being blown away by how great they were as resort. I also would (and have) recommended Hotel Le Cret to anyone!
